Academic Merit Awards at RMIT University in Australia 2020

Applications are currently invited for the Academic Merit Awards which is made available for International students who are seeking to pursue a degree program at RMIT University – Australia.

The RMIT University will provide the award amount of   AU$5,000  for students to cover their educational expenses in Australia. There are up to ten awards available.

Value of Award: The total value of the grant is up to AU$5,000, one-off payment to be paid after the first census date.

Eligibility for Academic Merit Awards at RMIT University

To eligible, applicants must;

• be a foreign candidate applying from anywhere in the world
• possess an offer letter to start any programs in Semester 1 2021 (with the exception of ELICOS and Higher Degree by Research)
• must have to meet the admission requirements of the university.

How to Apply for Academic Merit Awards at RMIT University

Applicants have to take admission to the degree program at the university. No application is required.

Terms and conditions

• This scholarship is only available to non-existing RMIT students.
• Candidates with a conditional offer of admission will need to satisfy the conditions of their offer of admission before they can be granted the scholarship award.
• Applicants with ELICOS packaged offers are not eligible.
• The Academic Merit Awards cannot be deferred.
• The value of your scholarship is based on full-time 48 credit points enrolment load in your first semester, which will be adjusted accordingly if your enrolment load is reduced.
• RMIT International may profile scholarship recipients.
• Scholarship selection is based on academic merit.
• Successful applicants will be notified; unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
• Candidates must not be in receipt of any other scholarship award providing tuition fees (candidates presently in receipt of a scholarship loan may be given consideration).
• The scholarships will be offered on a rolling basis until exhausted.
