BI Norwegian Business School Scholarship is awarded to students with a strong academic record and to international candidates who apply with an international education. Candidates who apply for, and are accepted in, the Bachelor of Business Administration or the Bachelor of Data Science for Business program who display above average grades from Upper Secondary School and/or University from a school outside Norway.

BI Norwegian Business School is the largest business school in Norway and the second largest in all of Europe. The school has in total four campuses with the main one based in Oslo. The university also has 845 employees which consist of of an academic staff of 404 people and 441 administrative staff.

In 2015, BI Norwegian Business School had 18,728 students. The school is the largest supplier of economic and administrative ability and skills in Norway with over 200,000 graduates since 1983. The school is a private foundation and is approved by NOKUT as a specialized university institution.

The school organized its academic activities in nine separate research departments covering all of the disciplines that can be expected at a modern European business school. BI Norwegian Business School has two student organizations, one for the main campus in Oslo and one for the other campuses.

The Oslo student organization is called “Studentforeningen ved Handelshøyskolen BI i Oslo” (SBIO) (English: The Student Association at BI in Oslo). In 2005, this union was formed after the relocation of the three locations in Oslo into one—Nydalen Campus.

The three previous unions were called Bedriftøkonomisk Studentersamfund (BS), BISON and MØSS. BS was the oldest union, created in 1964. The union for the other campuses is ‘BI Studentsamfunn’ (BIS) (English: BI Student Community).

This union was established on 7 February 1987 and is currently the largest student union of a private school in Norway. As of June 2019, the two student organizations have decided to combine into one student body, the name and other details of which will be decided over the summer of 2019.

In addition, the student newspaper is named INSIDE, and its circulation is 11,000. The all-male student choir is named UFDA The Choir Boys and was established in 1986. BI Norwegian Business School is currently rated 49th in the Financial Times ranking of European Business Schools.

In 2009, BI Norwegian Business School was rated by Eduniversal as the 35th most influential business school in the world. The school is approved as a specialized university institution by the Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NOKUT).

BI Norwegian Business School has also received the EQUIS accreditation and was the first Norwegian institution to receive the distinction EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System). The school was the first Norwegian institution to receive the distinction AMBA.

Worth of BI Norwegian Business School Scholarship

The BI Norwegian Business School Scholarship will cover 50% of the tuition fee for each semester of the program.

Eligibility for BI Norwegian Business School Scholarship

• To be qualified for the scholarship, each candidate must have a minimum cumulative GPA of a “B” on the BI ECTS scale after completion of each academic semester.
• Each candidate who are awarded the Bachelor International Scholarship must be prepared to be “BI Ambassadors” to be eligible for the scholarship.
• You must display academic achievements, extracurricular achievements, and special personal achievements to be eligible for BI Norwegian Business School Scholarship.
• Each applicant will be evaluated based on their transcripts to be qualified for BI Norwegian Business School Scholarship.
