About Clark Art Institute and Fellowship
In Williamstown, Massachusetts, the United States, there is a research institute and art museum known as the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute or the Clark. Its collection spans the fourteenth to the early twentieth centuries and includes European and American paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, photos, and decorative arts. Three art museums may be found in the Berkshires: The Clark, Williams College Museum of Art, and Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA).
The Clark Fellowship is open to all international students who want to do postdoctoral research at the Clark Art Institute USA in the 2024–2025 academic year. Between eleven and sixteen scholarships are offered by Clark each year, the majority of which are awarded for a single academic semester and have terms of one to ten months.
International scholars, critics, curators, and museum professionals are invited to recommend projects that further the school’s knowledge of the visual arts and their cultural value. The Institute has a sizable art history library, a public art gallery, and a wide range of academic and research endeavors. Clark is a center for debates on the nature and history of art on a global scale.
