Cranfield University Water Association and Excellence Scholarships in conjunction with the International Water Association (IWA) are offering 15 full-fee scholarships across its MSc courses in Advanced Water Management, Water & Sanitation for Development, and Water & Wastewater Engineering.
Cranfield University is a British postgraduate public research university that specializes in science, engineering, design, technology, and management. The university was established as the College of Aeronautics (CoA) in 1946.
Through the 1950s and 1960s, the development of aircraft research led to the development and diversification into other areas such as manufacturing and management, and in 1967, to the establishment of the Cranfield School of Management.
However, in 1969, the College of Aeronautics was named the Cranfield Institute of Technology and was integrated by royal charter, gained degree awarding powers, and became a university. In 1993, it acquired its current name.
Cranfield University has two campuses named the main campus is at Cranfield, Bedfordshire, and the second is at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom at Shrivenham, southwest Oxfordshire. The university’s main campus is unique in the United Kingdom and Europe for having its airport – Cranfield Airport – and its aircraft, used for teaching and research.
The university is excluded from the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, The Times World Rankings, The Complete University Guide, and The Guardian, which aim at helping potential undergraduate students to compare universities.

The Cranfield School of Management is rated 80th in the world for business and economics by 2018. Cranfield University is rated 39th (2019) in the world and was rated 27th in the world (2015) for mechanical, aeronautical, and manufacturing engineering by the QS World University Rankings in 2015.
Furthermore, Cranfield University is rated 9th in the UK in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) for Aeronautical, Mechanical, Chemical, and Manufacturing engineering. The university is rated 2nd in terms of Research Power, and 6th in terms of research Output Quality with 81% achieving 3*-4* research activity.

Eligibility for Cranfield University Water Association and Excellence Scholarships
To be qualified for the scholarship, Citizens of any country can apply for a scholarship, but you must be applying to study full-time on a qualified master’s course and hold a related first-class or 2:1 honors degree, or display significant practical experience and achievements in water or an aligned sector.
