Eligibility for Faculty of Law LLM Fee Scholarships at Victoria University of Wellington

• Candidate must possess a good academic record and demonstrate financial need.
• Applicant must be full fee-paying international students and may not be employed as full-time members of staff at Victoria University of Wellington or any other university.

Regulations and conditions

1. A completed online application must be submitted by 4.30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any needed supporting documentation (like references) has to also be gotten by 4:30 pm on the deadline in order for the application to be given consideration.
2. All awards of the Scholarship will be provisional upon the beneficiary being fully enrolled in a full-year program (full-time will be at the level of points regarded by Studylink as full-time) within the specified conditions and tenure of the scholarship award. No payment of the Scholarship award will be disbursed until this condition is satisfied.
3. The Faculty of Law LLM Fee Scholarships is not subject to deferral to a later year.
4. The Scholarship may be held in conjunction with other awards.
5. If the beneficiary withdraws from Victoria University of Wellington during the period of this scholarship award or fails to attain satisfactory progress, partial refund of the Scholarship will typically be expected. Beneficiaries must inform the Scholarships Office if they plan to withdraw.
6. Recipients are expected to act as Ambassadors for Victoria University of Wellington and participate in appropriate events or marketing if requested.
7. At the discretion of the Deciding Authority, the application of the terms and conditions of the Scholarship may be modified in special circumstances or to avoid hardship to any candidate for the Scholarship.
