The scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees that will be deducted from undergraduate or postgraduate coursework tuition fees for the duration of the program.
Eligibility for Griffith Remarkable Scholarship at Griffith University
Applicants must be citizens of countries other than Australia or New Zealand. They need to have a minimum GPA or equivalent in previous studies for Bachelor’s degree applicants. See the official website (link found below) for minimum GPA criteria. Postgraduate program candidates must possess a minimum GPA in undergraduate degrees of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 5.5 on a 7.0 scale.
Only commencing students enrolling as new full-time students in Trimester 2 or 3 2020 are eligible. Candidates must first have applied for and be eligible for admission, or be in receipt of a conditional or unconditional offer from the University, for entry into an undergraduate or postgraduate program degree by the scholarship award deadline. They are required to have satisfied all relevant entry conditions for the proposed degree program, with results of previous study and English language proficiency as per Griffith University’s entry prerequisites.
How to Apply for Griffith Remarkable Scholarship at Griffith University
Candidates have to provide and will be evaluated by a University panel on:
- A completed scholarship application form.
• Academic merit in prior studies.
• Evaluation of a Personal Statement that addresses why the candidates have put in for the scholarship award, the chosen program of study at Griffith University, and other details they feel strengthen their application for the scholarship award. The Personal Statement should be between 250 and 500 words.
The scholarship application deadline for Trimester 2, 2020 entry is 17 May 2020 and that for Trimester 3, 2020 entry is 7 August 2020.
