The Leibniz University Hannover in Germany is offering the Lower Saxony International Awards to Excellent applicants who are seeking to undergo a degree program at the Institution.

The sponsorship will be awarded to students enrolled in an undergraduate program or consecutive master’s program at the university for the academic year 2020-2021.

  • Applicant must be applying for the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in any of their chosen subject areas at the university for the academic year 2020-2021
  • Applicants must be International Scholarships
  • Applicants must have good grades

How to Apply for Lower Saxony International Awards at Leibniz University Hannover

For applying, applicants are advised to enroll in the undergraduate and postgraduate degree coursework at the Leibniz University Hannover. After taking confirmation, Applicants will be automatically considered for this studentship.

Leibniz University Hannover will award Lower Saxony Scholarships (“Landesstipendium Niedersachsen”) for the winter semester 2020/21. The scholarship award can be granted to candidates enrolled in an undergraduate program or consecutive master’s program at Leibniz University Hannover, who have not taken leave of absence and will finish their degree in the standard length of study. Scholarship holders receive a one-off payment of €500.

First semester students applying for a scholarship must provide their university entrance qualification (Abitur or similar). International first-semester students are required to submit a German translation.

Candidates are qualified to apply for both a Deutschlandstipendium and a Lower Saxony Scholarship award; however, candidates will only be given consideration for one scholarship award.
