Applications are invited for the Quentin Bryce Law Scholarship & Teaching Fellowship Program which will be provided to Individuals who are interested in undergoing a degree program at University of Technology Sydney, Australia

This scholarship program is established to advance and reward quality research in the faculty. A Quentin Bryce Law Doctoral Scholarship award will allow you to undergo your Ph.D. in a faculty which possesses a dynamic and vibrant research tradition and to work with nationally and globally renowned academic supervisors.

Value Of Study: 

  • A stipend of $40,000 per annum for 4 years
  • A research support fund of $1,500 per annum
  • Paid holiday, sick, maternity, and parenting leave
  • Chance of employment as a Doctoral Teaching Fellow ($25,000 each year in addition to the QBLD scholarship award)

Eligibility for Quentin Bryce Law Scholarship & Teaching Fellowship

  • Candidates are required to have concluded a Master’s Degree by research or a Bachelor’s Degree with first-class honors or be viewed by the University as having an equal level of achievement.
  • Applicants must be International students
  • Candidates should have concluded their Masters and Undergraduate degree program
  • Applicants must be fluent in the English language

How to Apply for Quentin Bryce Law Scholarship & Teaching Fellowship

Candidates should first finish the faculty’s required pre-assessment process to decide eligibility for the Ph.D. program. Please see our pre-assessment details here. There is no separate application process, but students who meet the selection criteria will be invited to an interview in the Faculty of Law.

Selection criteria

Scholarship awards will be granted in line with the following selection conditions:

  • academic merit of the applicant;
  • research and other appropriate experience of the candidate;
  • the publication record of the applicant;
  • quality of the research proposal; and,
  • the relevance of the proposed research to the Faculty’s research strengths.

Students who meet the criteria above will be invited to interview.
