This Scholarship in Gold-Based Drugs for Effective Ovarian Cancer will develop and test new gold-based compounds as alternatives to current ovarian cancer chemotherapies. The Scholarship will fund a 3 year Ph.D. candidature to work in the Chemistry Department of the RMIT School of Science CAMIC Laboratory. Eligibility for Scholarship in Gold-Based Drugs for Effective Ovarian Cancer
- Candidates need to have a background in synthetic organometallic chemistry using air-sensitive technologies and some interest in medicinal chemistry to be qualified for the scholarship.
- They must have also completed a relevant Bachelor’s Degree and Honor’s or Master’s in synthetic inorganic chemistry/medicinal/pharmacology. Note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, candidates living in Australia at the time of application will be preferred.
