UCD Academic Excellence Scholarship is offered for Master’s degree in the field of Eligible courses offered by the university. The scholarship is provided by UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. The scholarship will be awarded to successful masters applicants with the scholarships covering from 25% to 50% of tuition fees.
However, these scholarships are awarded to academically outstanding students who will be ambassadors for their course and the School during their studies and after graduation. The UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School is the graduate business school of University College Dublin (UCD) and is located in Blackrock, Dublin, Ireland, in Europe on the site of the former teacher-training Carysfort College.
The undergraduate business education is provided by the Quinn School of Business on the main Belfield campus of UCD. The school’s history can be traced from the UCD Faculty of Commerce, established in 1908, which became the first institution in Europe to offer a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, in 1964.
In 2018, the Financial Times rated the school as 1st in Ireland and 23rd overall in their ranking of the Top 100 Business Schools in Europe. UCD’s Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School is rated 21st in the Financial Times’ rating of leading European Business Schools in 2019.
The UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School Masters in International Management is rated 8th in the world. All successful candidates of the UCD Academic Excellence Scholarship will receive scholarships worth 25% – 50% of tuition fees.
Eligibility for UCD Academic Excellence Scholarship for Masters Student
- You must have been offered a place on a full-time eligible MSc Program at the university to be qualified for the scholarship.
- Each candidate must be open to nationals of qualified countries only.
- Candidates must be self-sponsored students to be qualified for UCD Academic Excellence Scholarship for Masters Student.
- Each candidate must have completed the application process to the program of their choice and fulfilled the necessary admissions requirements to be qualified for the scholarship.
- Please note that the UCD Belfield programs run in conjunction with UCD Smurfit School – MSc in Biotechnology and Business, MSc in Biotherapeutics and Business, and MSc in International Law and Business – are not qualiifed for Scholarships.
