The Susanne H. Rudolph Memorial Scholarship honors the late master of the Social Sciences Collegiate Division and William Benton Distinguished Service Professor of Political Science. This scholarship carries on Professor Rudolph’s commitment to serving College students.

CLASS OF 2023 SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY AND AWARD AMOUNT
The College will provide Class of 2023 College students who enroll in an approved UChicago Master’s or professional degree a one-year, half tuition stipend of $15,000 for the 2023–2024 academic year. This applies to Class of 2023 undergraduates enrolled in an appropriate combined degree program whose graduate degree program will continue through the conclusion of their college career and into the academic year 2023–2024.

The Graduate Financial Aid team can help you with different types of financial aid if your program will continue through Spring Quarter 2024 to support you in finishing the remaining years of your education.
HUMANITIES DIVISION MATCHING SCHOLARSHIP
Students in the Class of 2023 who register for the 2023–2024 academic year in either the Master of Arts in Humanities or the Master of Arts in Digital Studies program will be qualified for a further $15,000 scholarship from the Division of the Humanities, making a total of $30,000 when combined with the Rudolph Scholarship.
SOCIAL SCIENCES DIVISION MATCHING SCHOLARSHIP
Students in the Class of 2022 who sign up for the Committee on International Relations or the Master of Arts in Social Sciences program for the 2022–2023 academic year will be qualified for a second $15,000 scholarship from the Social Sciences Division, making a total of $30,000 when combined with the Rudolph Scholarship.

There is no need for a separate application for the University of Chicago Rudolph Scholarship! All Class of 2023 applicants to accredited graduate schools will be given equal consideration.
