Women In Aviation Scholarships in USA 2020

The Women In Aviation scholarships is accepting applications from Women and sometimes male members (students, teachers, and professionals) who want to further their studies in Aviation. Scholarship programs are a major perk of membership in Women in Aviation International and assist members to achieve their goals and progress into the aviation and aerospace careers they have always hoped for.

This scholarship award also assists teachers to fulfill their dreams, by offering them the resources they require to bring aviation into their classrooms or to grow their skills.

Application Deadline: 10th November 2020

Eligible Countries: USA and International

Number of Awardees: Two (2)

Value of Scholarship: $1500.

Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the winner’s educational institution. Awards can be used for tuition, books, or fees related to getting the A & P from an AMT School in the United States.

Eligibility for Women In Aviation Scholarships

To be qualified for this scholarship award program, candidates must:

• be seeking a degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Maintenance Technology, or an A & P through an Aviation Technician Program.
• be an associate of Women in Aviation International latest by November 1, 2020, and may put in for up to three scholarship awards.
• be Women
• presently enrolled or officially admitted into an Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering program, Aviation Technician Program, or Aviation Maintenance Technology program at an approved university, College, or AMT School in the United States.
• have a GPA of 3.0 or equal at the time of scholarship application – either in High School or their present Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering program, Aviation Technician program, or Aviation Maintenance Technology program.
• be a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen
• provide a copy of a College Acceptance Letter.
