Eligibility Criteria for Arts, Humanities, and Cultures AHC Doctoral Scholarship

Applicants are advised to meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Arts, Humanities, and Cultures AHC Doctoral Scholarship at the University of Leeds:

  • All applications from outside the UK are welcome.
  • The deadline for accepting this scholarship offer is October 1, 2024.
  • New postgraduate researchers pursuing full- or part-time research studies leading to a PhD degree are eligible for this award. Applicants who are currently enrolled in a PhD research study are not eligible to apply.
  • Candidates for PhD research must reside reasonably close to the university.
  • Normally, applicants to research degree programs must hold a master’s degree (or be expected to receive one) and at least a first-class or upper second-class British bachelor’s Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area.
