About Hult International Business School and Scholarship
Private business institutions Cambridge, London, San Francisco, Dubai, New York City, and Shanghai are among the cities where the Hult International Business School maintains campuses. The name Hult Business School or Hult is frequently used. The benefactor of the school Bertil Hult inspired the name of Hult, an employee of the EF Education First Group. Hult offers executive education in addition to its undergraduate, master’s, and MBA degree programs on its Ashridge Estate campus.
Hult replaced both the 1959-founded Ashridge Business School in Ashridge, England, and the 1964-founded Arthur D. Little School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The university supports the Hult Prize, a competition for student entrepreneurs. The seven campuses of Hult, which are dispersed across six countries, serve about 3,000 students.
There are two campuses for undergraduate and graduate study (in London and Boston), three for postgraduate study (in San Francisco, Shanghai, and Dubai), one for postgraduate study only (in New York City), and one for executive education (at Ashridge Estate in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom). Students are encouraged to transfer between campuses during their degrees. The Sergison Bates Architects-designed Hult London Undergraduate Campus won the Royal Institute of British Architects National Award in 2015.
The Hult Prize, formerly known as the Hult Global Case Challenge, is an annual competition that asks students from all around the world to find solutions to significant societal issues. Hult International Business School is funding it. The Prize was a joint effort of the Clinton Global Initiative, the United Nations Foundation, and Hult International Business School.
When a single winning team is selected, the top teams from each regional tournament advance to the global final. Bertil Hult will provide $1 million in cash towards the best concept. Hult does business and market research through its global research centers. Hult International Business School has a 28% acceptance rate. More than 19,000 of its graduates live in 156 different countries. The Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education classifies Hult as a More Selective Institution.
The Global Generation Scholarship honors new students who, via their overseas experiences or multilingualism, provide a distinctive global perspective to the school community. Scholars from the Global Generation are distinguished by their open-mindedness, cross-cultural exposure, and capacity to see variety as a strength.

Recipients of this scholarship will earn $5,000 or £3,500 every academic year for the 2023–2024 intake. This is $15,000 or GBP 10,500 for three years and $20,000 or GBP 14,000 for four years.
Eligibility Criteria for Global Generation Scholarship:
Academic Excellence Scholarship recipients may also apply for additional need- and merit-based scholarships, but they are only eligible for one of each kind of award. You must submit a 400–500 word essay or a five-minute video to be eligible for the award. Answering one of the following questions can help you show that you have a global mentality by demonstrating how traveling abroad or speaking many languages has changed the way you see the world:
- How has your exposure to different cultures and your multilingualism shaped who you are today?
- How have your intercultural experiences influenced your goals for the future, and how will your studies at Hult help you achieve those goals?
