- $10,000 a year (48 credit hours of study) is paid per year until the required minimum points for your degree are earned.
- Undergraduates who want to start their studies are welcome to apply for a spot in Monash Minds, a first-year leadership program.
Eligibility Criteria for Monash University International Merit Scholarship
Candidates are advised to meet the following conditions to be qualified for Monash University International Merit Scholarship:
- An international student
- Wishing to enroll in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at a Monash campus in Australia that requires coursework.
- You need to have gotten an offer from Monash before starting classes.
- For present students, results from at least two semesters spent in Australia must be submitted.
- Students who are currently enrolled in the Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) program or the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honors) program must have finished and received their results for a minimum of four semesters.
- Note: You are not qualified to apply for this scholarship if you:
- are taking Year 12 Australian studies. The Sir John Monash Scholarship for Excellence could be available to you.
- are starting the Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) program or the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honors) program. To apply, you must be a current student and have completed four semesters.
Selection Criteria
- According to academic success.
- At least a weighted average of 85 must have been attained by current pupils.
- Students will also be evaluated based on their ability to serve as an advocate for Monash University and their 500-word scholarship application statement.
- The first-time pupils will get priority.
Application Procedure for Monash University International Merit Scholarship
- Each candidate should complete and submit a separate application form for this scholarship.
- Before submitting your application for this scholarship, you must have gotten an unconditional full-course offer from Monash.
- Only within the same calendar year is it possible to postpone.
- Please do not include any supporting documents with your application; it will not be taken into account.
