Eligibility Criteria for University of Exeter Global Excellence Scholarships
Applicants are advised to meet the following prerequisites to be qualified for the University of Exeter Global Excellence Scholarships:
- Are seen as having to pay fees as international students, including any EU students who will have to do so in 2024–2025.
- Possess an offer from the University of Exeter for a full-time, postgraduate-taught degree that qualifies, starting in September 2025.
- A scholarship is granted for the university’s postgraduate programs.
- English Language Requirement: Candidates must submit documentation proving they meet the minimal English language competency criteria set by the University of Exeter.
Selection Criteria
- Academic merit, as determined by the data you submitted with your application for the program. Candidates must provide proof that they have earned or are capable of earning a degree comparable to an upper second-class degree in the UK. - The capacity to provide evidence of the following during the application process: academic aspirations; aspirations for your future profession; a sincere need for the scholarship and how it will help you achieve your goals; a feeling of social responsibility and a readiness to participate in Exeter community life.

1. What draws you to your selected course of study and what knowledge do you hope to acquire?
2. What goals do you have for the future, and how will your education help you reach them?
3. How much of a difference will receiving a Global Excellence Scholarship make to you?
4. How might you represent the University as an ambassador as a Global Excellence Scholar?
