Application Process for A&BK Undergraduate Scholarship

To apply you must complete the following 2 steps:

  • Apply for student finance and be approved by Student Finance England (SFE) or a comparable funding body after being “means-tested.” When a student provides information about their household income, their student finance body uses that information to determine how much maintenance support they qualify for. This process is known as “means-tested.” Your household income information must be less than £42,000 annually and must be verified to the college by SFE by the deadline of Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (UK local time) to be eligible for this scholarship. It is advised that you seek to be means tested as soon as the student loan applications open to be eligible for the scholarship, as SFE may take up to 8 weeks to review applications. Make sure you give the College permission to share your household income information (which consists of both your income and the income of your parents or spouse) with SFE. This is crucial since it allows the college to obtain the information about your household income that they require to assess your eligibility for the scholarship.
  • Apply through the UCAS application form for your study at the Department of Chemical Engineering and receive an admissions offer by Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (UK local time).

The Submission Deadline is: May 24, 2024
