About the University of Bath
In Bath, England, there is a public research institution called the University of Bath. Following the Robbins Report, it acquired its royal charter in 1966 together with several other organizations. Bath’s history may be traced back to the Merchant Venturers’ Technical College, which was founded as a school in Bristol in 1595 by the Society of Merchant Venturers, together with the Universities of Bristol and the West of England. The University of Bath also has ties to the Bristol Technical School, which was founded in 1856 and joined the Society of Merchant Venturers in 1885. A pharmacy school, the Bath School of Pharmacy, was established in the neighboring city of Bath in 1907. In 1929, this was integrated into the Technical College.

Number of Awards: Eight Deans Awards for Academic Excellence Scholarships will be given out by each Faculty. It can only be used to offset the cost of tuition fees as fee waivers.

- To begin a full-time taught master’s program at the University of Bath in 2023, you must already have an offer from the institution.
- The course must have a foundation in either Faculty of Engineering & Design, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, or Faculty of Science.

To apply for the Deans Award for Academic Excellence Scholarship, please follow the requirements below:
- Submit an application for a full-time taught master’s program in one of the faculties listed below: either the Faculty of Engineering & Design, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, or Faculty of Science.
- Fill out a scholarship application: You must use your application tracker to complete the University of Bath scholarship application form. As part of the scholarship application process, we will ask you to respond to three to five questions.
Note: Once you have been allowed to study with us, you may apply for this scholarship.
Deadline for Application: Apply by July 17, 2023, and you’ll hear back by August 14, 2023.
