- The scholarship can be combined with any other grants made available by the university or outside organizations.
Additional Scholarship Conditions
- After enrollment, successful candidates must finish their online registration and become “Normally Registered” by October 3.
- The scholarship is rescinded upon withdrawal from the academic program, and any unpaid tuition is due.
- If the program start date is postponed, the student will not be eligible to receive the reward.
- Programs for remote learning and GEES in Dubai are not accepted.
- Recipients are required to contribute in a variety of ways to the School and University.
GEES Global Futures Scholarships – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are advised to meet the following conditions to be qualified for GEES Global Futures Scholarships at the University of Birmingham:
- Qualified Countries: India
- Admissible Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by the School of Geography, Earth, and Environmental Sciences (GEES)
- Admissible Standards: To be qualified, candidates must:
- have been granted admission to the Edgbaston campus for a full-time undergraduate or taught master’s degree program beginning in September 2024.
- meet the offer’s academic requirements.
- have fulfilled the deadline for paying the necessary deposit.
- possess a residence in India.
- Be able to pay for any unpaid tuition and be categorized as an overseas fee payer for tuition.
- own enough money to pay for living expenses as well as related travel and visa costs.
- Acceptance into a full-time undergraduate or taught master’s program in GEES is a prerequisite for admission.
- Language Requirement: Following the language competency requirements of the university.
Application Procedure for GEES Global Futures Scholarships
Applicants for PGT programs must send N.Gupta.2@bham.ac.uk their student application ID and the deposit payment receipt. The Conditional Offer Letter for UG programs must be mailed to N.Gupta.2@bham.ac.uk by the applicant.
Note: Scholarships will be given out by the above-mentioned application and admission procedures as well as the eligibility requirements. This offer may be modified or changed at any moment by the School. The scholarship will be given out or applied for when the selected individual enrolls in classes in September 2024.
