Eligibility Criteria for Playford Trust / SA Power Networks
Applicants are advised to meet the following requirements to be qualified for Playford Trust / SA Power Networks at Flinders University:
- prepared to start their last year of study in asset management or power engineering in the field of electrical engineering
- a South Australian resident who is either an Australian citizen or the bearer of a permanent resident visa
- wanting to work in South Australia for a substantial portion of their career or who will probably be beneficial to the State
- a top performer having an excellent undergraduate record
- of moral integrity. Students who show promise as leaders will be given priority.
A supporting statement regarding the student’s accomplishments, character, and leadership potential must be provided by the applicant’s supervisor or an academic referee (such as the dean of the school or faculty) or lecturer.
Selection Criteria
The Playford Trust will consider nominations from students studying at one of the three South Australian public universities and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the nominations.
SA Power Networks and the Playford Trust will jointly make the final selection.
