Arizona State University is now accepting applications for its partially funded ASU Global Education Planning Scholarship.

About Arizona State University and Scholarship

Public research university in the Phoenix metro area, Arizona State University is sometimes referred to as Arizona State or ASU. ASU was founded in 1885 by the 13th Arizona Territorial Legislature and today ranks among the largest public colleges in the country in terms of enrollment. The Association of American Universities classifies Arizona State University (ASU), one of three institutions under the control of the Arizona Board of Regents, as an “R1: Doctoral Universities – Very High Research Activity” institution. More than 38,000 ASU students attend classes online, and the university has more than 90,000 undergraduates and almost 20,000 postgraduate students spread throughout its five campuses and four regional learning centers across Arizona.

ASU offers undergraduate students 350 different degree options from its 17 colleges, more than 170 cross-discipline centers and institutes, and more than 400 graduate degree and certificate programs. The Arizona State Sun Devils compete in 26 varsity-level sports in the NCAA Division I Pac-12 Conference, and they are home to more than 1,100 officially registered student organizations.

High-achieving foreign students are invited to apply for the 2023 ASU Global Education Planning Scholarship, which will be given for approved academic programs in the first academic year. By lowering the financial barrier that would discourage some students from exploring this choice, ASU Global Education Planning Scholarships provide first-generation college undergraduate students the chance to also be the first in their families to take part in a global education program.

In addition to connecting with GEO personnel to begin arranging for a foreign adventure, scholarship applicants will also agree to undertake a follow-up project after being polled about their interests in global education. Throughout their planning phase, scholarship applicants are also urged to go to numerous GEO seminars and informational sessions. ASU strives to ensure that first-generation college students have extra financing possibilities to make this ambition a reality. Global Education programs are typically mentioned as a milestone in a student’s personal growth.
