- Many men straddle different pursuits at the boundaries of their abilities and wear many hats. Fellows may be beginning, restarting, advancing, reevaluating, or changing course in their current jobs.
- The institution will give preference to and choose fellows for the 2024–2025 academic year who have a track record of making contributions to academic and public discussions in their field of study.
