About Flinders University and Scholarship

Flinders University is a public research university based in Adelaide, South Australia, with 11 campuses spread across the state and the Northern Territory. It was named after British sailor Matthew Flinders, who researched and surveyed the Australian and South Australian coastlines in the early nineteenth century.

Flinders University’s main campus in Adelaide’s south, Bedford Park, is built amid 156 acres of gardens and native bushland, making it a green institution. Tonsley, Adelaide Central Business District, Renmark, Alice Springs, and Darwin are among the other campuses. It is a member of the IRU Group (Innovative Research Universities).
