Eligibility Criteria for Newcastle University Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships
Applicants are advised to meet the following requirements to be qualified for Newcastle University Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships:
50% scholarships
Candidates for the up to 50% scholarships applicants must:
- possess a permanent residence in one of the following nations: USA, Turkey, Kenya, Malaysia, South Africa, Tanzania, India, Kenya,
- be evaluated as foreign for charging purposes:
- accept an offer to enroll in an approved full-time undergraduate program for the 2024–2025 academic year at the University’s Newcastle city center campus.
- possess or anticipate obtaining a least of ABB at the A level or its equivalent.

100% scholarships
Candidates for the 100% scholarships applicants must:
- be a citizen of one of the following nations: USA, Ukraine, India
- be evaluated as foreign for charging purposes
- accept an offer to enroll in an approved full-time undergraduate program for the 2024–2025 academic year at the University’s Newcastle city center campus.
- possess or anticipate obtaining a least of ABB at the A level or its equivalent.
