The University of Southern Queensland, also known as UniSQ and formerly known as USQ, is a medium-sized regional university located in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. It has campuses in Toowoomba, Springfield, and Ipswich. There are classes available in business, education, engineering, law, health, and the arts. As the Queensland Institute of Technology’s Darling Downs campus, the organization was founded in 1969. For rural Queensland and foreign populations, the university offered study-abroad programs in 1970. It changed its name to Darling Downs Institute of Advanced Education in 1971 before changing to University College of Southern Queensland in 1990 and then to the University of Southern Queensland in 1992.
Seven research centers and three research institutes are run by the organization, and they concentrate on a variety of commercial, agricultural, scientific, environmental, and technical challenges. The purpose of the (UniSQ) International Student Support Scholarship is to assist deserving overseas students in continuing their pursuit of a top-notch education at UniSQ. For the length of your studies at UniSQ, you must maintain acceptable academic standing and satisfy the admission criteria for the program of study to be eligible for this scholarship. All grant programs for undergraduate, graduate, and research students from abroad are invited to apply.

Benefits:
Each scholarship will be applied as a 10% tuition fee reduction and have a maximum value of 10% of the tuition fees for the duration of the authorized award program. As stated in their offer letter, students are responsible for paying the remaining costs. The winner must maintain an acceptable GPA during their time at UniSQ for the scholarship to continue.
University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) International Student Support Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are advised to meet the following requirements to be qualified for the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) International Student Support Scholarship:
- be enrolled in an on-campus, distance learning, or online program;
- be a foreign student;
- obtain an invitation to enroll in one of the study periods in 2024 for an award-level degree provided by the University of Southern Queensland and be a starting student (i.e., new to UniSQ) in 2024.
- not be receiving another UniSQ tuition price scholarship and fulfill the academic and English standards for the UniSQ award program they are applying for.
- not be a sponsored student, unless the student is funded by an NGO or the government of a low-income or middle-income nation.
Selection Criteria
The data on applicants’ UniSQ international student applications will be used to determine whether or not they are considered for this award. Your admission application information will be used by UniSQ to determine if you are eligible for a scholarship. On-campus candidates must additionally be successful in obtaining the proper visa for the duration of their studies to continue to be eligible.
In 2024, applications will be accepted for all study periods. To start in the designated study period, the application to study at UniSQ must be finished in time, taking into account all procedures and external visa processing periods. Applications will end after the final window of time for overseas students to enroll in classes.

Applicants must:
- Complete an international student application and get an Offer Letter by the closing date (applicants must allow for visa and application processing time if applicable).
- Apply for admission either directly or through a UniSQ-approved education agent.
