The University of Dayton Arena and Immaculate Conception Chapel are two significant structures on the campus.

In the autumn of 2020, 11,347 full-time students from various racial, ethnic, and geographic backgrounds were enrolled at the school. In the fields of the arts, sciences, business management, education, health sciences, engineering, and law, it provides more than 80 academic programs. It is categorized as belonging to the “R2: Doctoral Universities – High Research Activity” group.

The University of Dayton was ranked 37th for “best value” in the United States and tied for 127th overall in U.S. News & World Report’s 2021 ranking of national institutions.
