Eligibility Criteria for University of Kent International Scholarships Taught Masters Students

Applicants are advised to meet the following conditions to be qualified for University of Kent International Scholarships Taught Masters Students:

  • The student should apply to the University of Kent (any study location would do) for a taught postgraduate degree program beginning in January 2024.
  • The applicant’s status as a foreign fee payer must have been established.
  • The candidate needed to have accepted an unconditional offer by the scholarship deadline.
  • Just overseas students who pay fees are eligible for this award, therefore please be advised of that. For January 2024, EU students who are eligible for the special EU fee rate are not eligible for this award.

Required Documents

  • The applicant has to send in the necessary supporting documentation with their application.
  • A 500-word personal essay explaining “why you feel you should be awarded the scholarship and how you might support Kent in its efforts as a global institution” should be submitted.

  8. Acceptance of Scholarship Offer: If you are successful in securing the scholarship, please note that you must accept the offer within 2 weeks of receiving it.
  9. University’s Right to Allocate Awards: The University of Kent retains the right not to allocate the awards if the selection panel does not identify suitable candidates.
  10. Scholarship Terms and Conditions: The International Scholarship is subject to the complete University of Kent Scholarship Terms and Conditions. Successful candidates will receive these terms at the time of the award.
