About the University of Surrey and Scholarship
The University of Surrey is an English public research institution in Guildford. Following suggestions in the Robbins Report, the university got its royal charter in 1966, along with several other institutions. Battersea College of Technology was formerly located in Battersea Park, London. Its origins, however, may be traced back to Battersea Polytechnic Institute, which was created in 1891 to give further and higher education to London’s impoverished residents.
The institution is a member of the MBA Association and one of four universities in the institution’s Global Partnership Network. It is also a member of the SETsquared consortium, together with the Universities of Bath, Bristol, Southampton, and Exeter. The main campus of the university is located on Stag Hill, near the center of Guildford and adjacent to Guildford Cathedral. Surrey Sports Park is located near Manor Park, the university’s secondary campus. In 2020, the University of Surrey had the 41st-highest average UCAS Tariff for new applicants among British universities.
The institution, a significant center for satellite and mobile communications research, is working with King’s College London and the Dresden Institution of Technology to develop 5G technology globally. It also has several official affiliations with institutions throughout the world, including the Surrey International Institute, which was founded in collaboration with Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. The university owns the Surrey Research Park, which houses approximately 110 research businesses.
Surrey has received three Queen’s Anniversary Prizes for its research, and the university has risen 12 places to 33rd in the UK for overall research quality, with 41% of its research outputs rated as “world-leading” in the 2021 Research Excellence Framework. It was recognized by The Sunday Times University of the Year in 2016, and it was nominated for the same award again in 2023. It was also named The Sunday Times University of the Year for Graduate Employment in 2022.
To encourage constructive change, the Surrey Business School believes in tearing down boundaries. For bright people wishing to apply to the MBA programs at the institution, a sizable number of scholarships are available. The amount of the entire tuition cost that a scholarship can pay ranges from 10% to 50%, and they are given out on a rolling basis. Thus, there may be a better probability of winning an award for those who apply earlier in the admissions cycle.

Eligibility Criteria for the University of Surrey MBA Scholarship
Applicants are advised to meet the following requirements to be qualified for University of Surrey MBA Scholarship:
- Candidates must possess a lower second-class degree or an equivalent; other qualifications could be taken into consideration; see the Terms and Conditions (docx) for additional details.
- Candidates must be full- or part-time students who are from the UK, the EU, or another country.
- Students must be self-supporting or obtain a loan or partial sponsorship; they cannot be accepted if they are completely supported by another scholarship or sponsorship
- EU and international students must meet the English language standards (IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall grade with 6.0 in each element or equivalent) and applicants must be enrolled in a full-time MBA or Executive MBA.
Application Procedure for the University of Surrey MBA Scholarship
