About Imperial College of London and Scholarship
The public research university Imperial College London is located in London, England. It is sometimes referred to as Imperial. In the beginning, Prince Albert, the husband of Queen Victoria, had a vision for a cultural district that would include the Royal Albert Hall, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum, and several royal colleges. The Royal College of Science, the Royal School of Mines, and the City and Guilds of London Institute were combined to become Imperial College London in 1907 after receiving a royal charter. By combining with St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School, the Imperial College School of Medicine was created in 1988. The Imperial College Business School was launched in 2004 by Queen Elizabeth II.
Engineering, science, business, and medicine are the main concentrations of Imperial College London. The main campus, where the majority of instruction and research are conducted, is in South Kensington. A second campus in White City offers a setting for business and innovation. Additionally, there are teaching hospitals spread out around London that are part of an academic health research center. Before becoming an independent university in 2007, the institution belonged to the University of London. With 140 different nations represented on campus and 59% of its students coming from outside the UK, Imperial has a very diverse student body.

Your leadership background and the lessons you have learned from it should be highlighted in your statement. They are particularly interested in learning about your involvement in diversity programs while attending college or while working. The admissions staff will inform selected applicants.
