Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) International Tuition Fee Scholarship – Vietnam at the University of Queensland, Australia 2023

The University of Queensland is accepting applications for its partially funded Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) International Tuition Fee Scholarship – Vietnam.

About the University of Queensland and Scholarship

The first university in the state, the University of Queensland, was formally founded on April 16, 1910, when nominations for the first UQ Senate were gazetted. A State Parliament Act from 1909 founded it. Education started in 1911 in Brisbane’s Old Government House on George Street. There were three faculties (Arts, Science, and Engineering) and 83 students in the first year (60 men and 23 women).

The University soon outgrew its inner-city location after the First World War. In 1922, a second site in Victoria Park (where the Medical School is now located) was acquired. The first structure, thereafter known as the Forgan Smith structure in honor of the then-Premier, was finished in 1939 after construction on the St. Lucia site began. It served as the cutting-edge command center for the Allied Land Forces in the South West Pacific during World War II.

The University and the Queensland Agricultural College joined in 1990 at (now Gatton), 80 kilometers west of Brisbane, linking the two oldest institutions of higher learning in the State and particularly increasing enrollments. First students were admitted to the old Queensland Agricultural College in 1897, and the two institutions have long collaborated on teaching and research projects.

According to the Australian Financial Review, UQ’s MBA program is the best in the country. UQ is ranked first in both the Academic Ranking of World Universities and U.S. News & World Report for life sciences institutions in Australasia. According to the Aggregate Rankings of Top Universities issued by UNSW, UQ was the 42nd best-ranked institution in the world in 2022 based on the combined performance across QS, THE, and ARWU.
