Beit Trust Postgraduate Scholarships for Study United Kingdom, 2024
Application is now open for the Beit Trust Postgraduate Scholarships. Interested applicants are encouraged to send their applications in before the deadline date.
About Beit Trust and Scholarship
A financier, philanthropist, and director of the British South Africa Company named Alfred Beit left the Trust in his will, which was written in 1906. The growth of the railway network in what was then Rhodesia was one of his many passions. He gave a sizeable bequest to several philanthropic organizations when he passed away in 1906 at the age of 53. Beit understood that Zambia and Zimbabwe, today’s Northern and Southern Rhodesia, would not be able to draw enough investment for their growth within his lifetime.
Beit Trust Postgraduate Scholarships will be given out again for the academic year starting in September 2024 for institutions in the UK and January 2025 for universities in South Africa.
