This scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Program. You only need to submit one application to be regarded for all scholarships in this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for Cromwell College Scholarship

Candidates are advised to meet the following conditions to be qualified for the Cromwell College Scholarship at the University of Queensland:

  • You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to qualify as a domestic student.
  • You should be able to demonstrate that you have financial need. This typically involves providing information about your financial circumstances and any challenges you may face in funding your education.
  • You must be enrolled in an approved program at the University of Queensland in the year the scholarship is awarded. Alternatively, you can also be an intending student, meaning that you plan to enroll in an approved program at UQ.
  • The scholarship is specifically for residents of Cromwell College, one of the residential colleges affiliated with the University of Queensland.

Note: First-time students will be given preference.

Application Process for Cromwell College Scholarship

Interested and qualified students should apply using the online application portal. They will need the following:

  • their QTAC reference number or UQ student number
  • proof of financial hardship such as Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income, or a personal statement.

As soon as they receive your application, the scholarship office will notify you by email. After completing your application, if you haven’t received a confirmation email after two working days, send them an email at scholarships@uq.edu.au.
