About the Strathclyde Business School
The University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, is made up of four colleges, including the Strathclyde Business School (SBS). The university’s John Anderson campus includes the school, which was founded in 1948 and is situated on Cathedral Street there. It provides management training and business education courses.
The Strathclyde Business School has around 4500 students (1960 undergraduate and 2615 postgraduate), 200 academic staff members, and 11 topic departments and specialized groups that offer highly specialized and cross-disciplinary postgraduate programs. Triple Accreditation has been given to it.
Scotland’s first triple-accredited business school is Strathclyde. It was recognized as THE Business School of the Year in the UK in November 2016.
The Strathclyde Business School’s Executive MBA and Master’s program in Finance were ranked 41st and 33rd globally by Financial Times in 2016, while the Strathclyde Business School’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) was ranked 76th and 63rd globally by The Economist. Six nations host the school’s foreign campuses: Switzerland, Greece, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Malaysia.
The CFA Institute has recognized Strathclyde Business School for offering several postgraduate programs that include a substantial amount of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. The MSc in Finance, MSc in International Accounting and Finance, MSc in Investment and Finance, and MSc in International Banking and Finance are recognized programs. In the 2014 Research Excellence Framework, Strathclyde Business School was ranked third in the UK for the effect of its research, first in Scotland for GPA, and received the best possible grade for its research environment.

Eligibility Criteria for Strathclyde Business School Masters Scholarships
Candidates must already have an offer of a spot on one of the institutions’ Full Time Msc programs for entry in September 2023, be self-funded (i.e., not receiving financing from any other scholarships, employer sponsorship, etc.), and be deemed international concerning fee status.
From mid-March 2023 forward, Strathclyde Business School Masters Scholarships will be given out on a rolling basis; the last day for applications to be considered is July 31, 2023.
*Please do not submit duplicate forms or statements, since all submissions will be taken into account.
Candidates interested in applying should submit a statement of no more than 1000 words outlining their thoughts, experiences, and goals for the future (including why they picked the school they did and why they should be given the scholarship). Candidates’ overall application quality and financial necessity will also be taken into account.
Additionally, recipients of scholarships will be required to participate in a range of activities while pursuing their studies, such as:
- Keeping track of, participating in, and replying to future applicant forums with details on the pertinent course
- Participating actively in the social committee or the class representative committee
- Acting voluntarily as a prospective student’s point of contact for admissions
- Supporting the school in the planning and administration of events
- Maintaining alumni communication after receiving an MSc
Application Procedure for Strathclyde Business School Masters Scholarships
*Before applying for a scholarship, you must already have an offer to enroll in a full-time postgraduate program at Strathclyde Business School. Application numbers that are supplied incorrectly or falsely will disqualify the submission* **Applications submitted twice won’t be taken into account. Any pre-written or template-based SOPs, personal statements, or duplicate program essay responses uploaded will be ignored, and the scholarship application will not be taken into consideration**.
Due to the number of submissions, only those who are chosen will be contacted, but all applications will still be taken into account up to the deadline.
