About the University of Huddersfield and Scholarship
The University of Huddersfield, sometimes known as Huddersfield University, is an English public research university that is located in the West Yorkshire town of Huddersfield. Although it became a university in 1992, it began as several different institutions in the 19th century. Its efforts have placed a special emphasis on teaching quality, and in 2017 it won the first Higher Education Academy Global Teaching Excellence Award and received a Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Gold Award. It has continuously been among the top institutions in England for the percentage of staff members who hold teaching credentials, and in 2022 it held the top spot with 94%.
