The Vice Chancellors Scholarships Scheme for overseas students at the University of Huddersfield is now available for the academic year 2023–2024.
The academic program is available to gifted students doing Ph.D., MA by Research, and MS by Research coursework on a full- or part-time basis. Eligibility for Vice Chancellors Scholarships Scheme
- All nationalities are qualified for the Vice Chancellors Scholarships Scheme.
- Acceptable Subjects or Courses: Scholarships under the Vice Chancellors Scholarships Scheme will be given for undergraduate and graduate study in any subject area.
- Acceptable Standards: Applicants who want to be considered for the merit-based scholarship must:
- first-class honors education
- Honor at the taught Master’s level
or
- Obtain a recommendation from your supervisor and academic institution based on your Master’s by Research, and have just graduated from the University of Huddersfield.
Vice Chancellors Scholarships Scheme – Application Process
- Candidates must submit an admission application for their desired degree program to be considered for the Vice Chancellors Scholarships Scheme.
- Supporting Documents: if you have any questions or need further information. The following details must be included with the application by applicants:
- Academic records, grades, and degrees or certificates
- Results from English language tests (IELTS, PTE, etc.)
- Personal statement or purpose statement
- A pair of sources
- Confirmation of sponsorship (if your government or another entity will pay your tuition)
- A resume outlining your career history and previous employment, if any
- Portfolio for a variety of courses in music, art, and design.

- A copy of your visa and current passport.
- Entrance Criteria: Before applying, candidates must satisfy all entrance criteria for the course they have selected (entry requirements for undergraduate study).
- Candidates who have not finished their education in a nation with a majority of English-speaking citizens within the previous two years must meet the language requirement. Before being admitted, they must meet the university’s language standards.
